This packaging design is inspired by the cured meat culture of Xiyang, Chongqing, China. Xiyang’s cured meats are highly popular during holidays and as gifts. The design cleverly divides the box to allow consumers to enjoy multiple flavors at once. The illustration style is flexible and breaks away from traditional packaging designs, incorporating local plants and scenes of daily life to highlight regional characteristics. The packaging combines text and graphics to add both interest and information, building consumer trust in the brand. This design also reflects the beautiful natural environment of Xiyang and the hardworking, passionate spirit of its people.
